Gayety's Chocolates & Ice Cream: Indulge in Nostalgic Treats at Lansing’s Beloved Ice Cream Parlor

Holy cow this place has been plucked out of time. A true slice of history with that traditional ice cream shoppe feel. We shared a brownie banana split and a vanilla malt. I can't remember the last time I had ice cream this good. We will definitely be coming back

Gayety's Ice Cream is my #1 gem of Lansing, IL. The ice cream is creamy, smooth, and delicious, with endless candy + fruit items to choose from. The establishment itself feels like a blast to the past, adorned with vintage parlor furniture and photos preserving their history. I've been coming here since I can remember, and my family & I still enjoy our outings here to this day. :) Customer service is absolutely excellent

Great product. Best chocolate covered strawberries. Just one lil gripe, for the price that is charged for an individual strawberry the customer should be allowed to pick out what strawberry they want. As the old adage goes " give the lady what she wants".

Old school style ice cream and chocolate shop. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and when the original locations were closer to home. Good ice cream and a large variety of yummy chocolates. Can be a bit pricey, but it's a nice, small business to support. Would recommend. **Added updated pictures from purchase for Valentine's Day gifts! Excellent customer service.

This place is a must if you are a chocolate lover! They have a wide variety of different chocolates and some gummies as well. They also have candy apples, chocolate covered strawberries, and ice cream. You can purchase freshly made Sundays or buy a pint of ice cream to take home. They have a lot of seating inside and out. They have two entrances, one in front of the store and one behind the store. Parking is easier in the back of the store.

You can smell of the deliciousness when you walk into GAYTES. Their chocolate melts in your mouth so creamy so chocolatey and their ice cream. Never disappoints homemade just pure deliciousness so please if you're near Lansing Illinois stop in and see and have a delicious treat of GAYTES

This is an amazing place. It has century old charm with modern attributes. Perfect place to hang out with friends or family. The ice cream is exceptional. The whipped cream is fresh and made without sugar. The kind you would find on homemade pumpkin pie. ( If you only like cool whip ) this is not the whipped cream for you. Candies are all made from scratch. They normally serve the ice cream in take out countainers. However, they have glassware upon request. I would highly recommend if dining in, to get the whole ice cream parlor experience.
